Lenny Matei

Lenny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nairobi and has over a decade of experience in engineering and project development in the renewable energy sector. He has successfully led multiple renewable energy project developments within the African market, including CBE’s flagship baseload renewable energy solution for the Kamoa-Kakula mine in the DRC.

Before joining CrossBoundary, Lenny worked at Solarcentury East Africa as a project engineer and the technical lead for the Nairobi office where he oversaw the design and engineering of solar and energy storage projects. At CrossBoundary Energy, Lenny brings his technical expertise, project management skills and unwavering passion to the development of sustainable energy solutions for commercial, industrial, and mining clients. He is based in CrossBoundary’s Nairobi office.
